# Search job postings

Returns job postings matching an advanced filter, or resolves a list of known job IDs, with each posting's attributes and related people.

Note: Replaces Sumble's older find, job-details and find-related-people endpoints; supports the same search and match modes as the organizations endpoint.

## Set up

Use the first option your agent supports.

### API (official)

- Base URL: https://api.sumble.com
- Endpoint: `POST /v9/jobs`
- Auth: send the header `Authorization: Bearer $SUMBLE_API_KEY`
- Get a key: https://sumble.com/account/api-keys
- Docs: https://docs.sumble.com/api/api

Before anything else, confirm access with the cheapest read-only call, like a list or a search. Never send or change anything to test access.

## Rules

- Ask the user before anything that sends messages, costs money, or changes data, and say how many records it touches. One approval covers a batch the user has seen.
- Never print API keys.
