# Find similar companies

Returns lookalike company profiles and similarity scores from seed domains, narrowed by company filters.

Note: Pass 1–10 seed domains in `domains`; returns up to 100 companies per page. Costs 5 credits per company returned, with a 5-credit minimum; workforce expansion adds 5 credits per company.

## Set up

Use the first option your agent supports.

- Base URL: https://api.companyenrich.com
- Endpoint: `POST /companies/similar`
- Auth: send the header `Authorization: Bearer $COMPANYENRICH_API_KEY`

Before anything else, confirm access with the cheapest read-only call, like a list or a search. Never send or change anything to test access.

## Rules

- Ask the user before anything that sends messages, costs money, or changes data, and say how many records it touches. One approval covers a batch the user has seen.
- Never print API keys.
