# Create a meeting

Creates a Bridge video meeting, instant or scheduled, returns its join link and emails an invitation to each invitee.

Note: Does not add an event to the user's calendar. Keep the returned `recap_id`: the brief, notepad and meeting calls take it.

## Set up

Use the first option your agent supports.

Note: Needs a paid Bridge plan (Professional or above); not on the free Starter plan or a trial. At sign-in the user grants read access, or read and write access for the calls that book, invite, create or send.

Before anything else, confirm access with the cheapest read-only call, like a list or a search. Never send or change anything to test access.

## Rules

- Ask the user before anything that sends messages, costs money, or changes data, and say how many records it touches. One approval covers a batch the user has seen.
- Never print API keys.
