# Act on a follow-up step

Drafts, approves, skips or checks off one step of a follow-up plan; approving sends the email or creates the record.

Note: `draft` previews Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and HubSpot steps, but Slack, Notion, Linear, ClickUp and Attio actions not named as writes run during `draft`. `approve` with `revision` only rewrites the draft. Drafts expire after about 30 minutes.

## Set up

Use the first option your agent supports.

### MCP (official, remote)

Add this server to your agent's MCP settings, then sign in when asked.

```json
{ "mcpServers": { "bridge": { "url": "https://api.meetonbridge.com/mcp" } } }
```

Call the MCP tool `act_on_follow_up_step`.

Server URL: https://api.meetonbridge.com/mcp

Note: Needs a paid Bridge plan (Professional or above); not on the free Starter plan or a trial. At sign-in the user grants read access, or read and write access for the calls that book, invite, create or send.

Before anything else, confirm access with the cheapest read-only call, like a list or a search. Never send or change anything to test access.

## Rules

- Ask the user before anything that sends messages, costs money, or changes data, and say how many records it touches. One approval covers a batch the user has seen.
- Never print API keys.
